Not since Lassie or Rin Tin Tin, has a dog captured our imagination the way Good Boy has.

The film, which is now screening on Prime, took around 3 years to make and the director, Ben Leonberg used his own pup, Indy as the main star.

Set in the haunted house type scenario, we are treated to how dogs may perceive evil and try to fight against it, willing to risk everything to save their master.

The dog does not die, so you need not worry on that score and can at least sit back and enjoy the film with that knowledge. That said, this is an emotional and touching story and a feat of brilliance to bring it to the screen.
