We don’t normally cover documentaries on Movie Central but now that we have a wider field with our new launch at the end of June, we had to bring this gem to your attention.

Filmmaker Liam Le Guillou embarks on a perilous journey into the occult to discover if magic truly exists, challenging his perceptions of reality and belief through a daring and unprecedented dark social experiment.

Liam has had an interesting life to say the least. He was born in Britain and has become a noted documentary maker.

In a risk-taking adventure, he puts himself and his very soul on the line, travelling the world to get himself cursed. Whilst doing so he brings all kinds of real magic into our living rooms, I had to skip 10 seconds every now and then just so that the real spells that we were hearing did not emanate into my house in full.

Having got himself cursed, he starts to regret the whole enterprise as nightmares take over his life and his life starts to fall apart.

It seems that he was not really wanting to get cursed, but really was trying to prove that the divine exists and would save him.

He has no choice at the end than to seek out those that can remove the curse for him. To find out what he goes through and take your own interpretations as to why you must see the film.
