 Skeeter Bronson (Sandler), is a hotel repairman whose life is changed forever when the bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew start to come true. Naturally he tries to take advantage of the situation, and his stories and adventures get more far fetched. Unfortunately for Skeeter the childeren incorporate some ideas of their own that have him fighting to bring things onto an even keel and to keep himself from harm's way.
